What happens when a Registered QR Code expires?
The physical label survives, the operational object is no longer in an active state, and the audit record remains. Permitted behavior after expiration is determined by the applicable Protocol and the state held in the Codex.
Can a QR code be revoked?
Revocation is a recognized state within the QR system. Revocation affects what the operational object is permitted to do; it does not remove the physical label and does not erase the recorded history.
